"The Voice" Recap: Country singer lands a four-chair round

The Last Week of Blind Auditions for Season 15 of NBC The Voice began on Monday night and coaches Blake Shelton Blake Shelton Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson remained demanding, as they made some of their last tips of the season.

The first act of the night came from the first duo of the season. Adam and Jerome are together and sing together too. For their audition they sang "Could it be that I fall in love" by The Spinner . Clarkson, Shelton and Hudson all turned around. In the end, they chose Clarkson, who made an emotional speech in response to her singing.

Natalie Brady followed with an intense rock performance of Heart's "Barracuda". She had powerful vocals and also brought some emotion to the song. Levine turned first, and Hudson finally joined. Levine tends to get along well with rock singers, so of course Brady joined Team Adam.

The next artist, Hannah Blaylock, did not make any chairs with her Foundations cover.

Mike Parker easily turned things around with his performance of "So Sick" by Ne-Yo . It was not a perfect performance, but he still came from Hudson and joined Team Jennifer.

Guitarist and singer Joey Green held the rock mood of the evening with a performance of "Baba O'Riley" by The Who . He gave a funny performance, which was different from Hudson and Shelton. Given the genre, it was surprising that Levine did not turn around, but admittedly there were some pitch problems. Green, who has experience in country songwriting, chose Shelton.

Next was Zaxai, singing Redbones "Come and get your love." Zaxai noticed that he can sing in several languages, and he proved to be very experienced, giving a well-rounded performance. Clarkson tried to turn, but was blocked by Hudson, so Zaxai ended up in the team Jennifer.

With her cover of "New Rules" by Dua Lipa Erika Zade did her own without changing the tune, and these strong creative instincts brought her closer to Clarkson. She joined Team Kelly by default.

Astrophysicist and singer Jarred Matthew sang next Al Green's "Tired of Alone." His smooth performance alternated between Shelton and Levine, who told the artist that he could help him work on perfecting his falsetto. Matthew joined Team Adam.

Singing "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce Sam Robbins did not shoot chairs, but he was selected online for this season Series The Comeback Stage

Colton Smith next gave a powerful performance of " Alive "from Sia and showed impressive range. Hudson turned around, but nobody else hit her buttons for him, so by default, Smith joined Team Jennifer.

Country singer Kaley Hill secured just one round and caught the attention of Shelton with her performance of Fleetwood Mac ] "Gold Dust Woman." She ended up in Team Blake.

At the close of the night, Kirk Jay sang the Rascal Flatts classic "God Bless the Broken Road" and gave him a well-deserved four-chair round with an emotional, soaring performance. The coaches saw something special in him. But Jay has made it clear that he is the country singer, so of course he chose Shelton. The other coaches did not stand a chance.

The blind auditions will end on Tuesday night.
