The "Wheel of Time" series on Amazon has found its main cast.
Josha Stradowski was cast in the role of Rand al'Thor, Marcus Rutherford plays Perrin Aybara and Zoë Robins plays Nynaeve. In addition, Barney Harris play Mat Cauthon and Madeleine Madden Egwene Al'Vere. They join the already announced actor Rosamund Pike.
Based on Robert Jordan's best-selling fantasy novels, "The Wheel of Time" stars in a high-fantasy world where magic exists but only certain women have access. The story follows Moiraine (Pike) on a dangerous, global journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied as Dragon Reborn (Stradowski), a powerful individual who will either save or destroy humanity.

This Amazon series has been adapted for television by executive producer and showrunner Rafe Judkins, whose previous sources include "Agents of Largely Larry Mondragon and Rick." Selvage by Red Eagle Entertainment, Ted Field and Mike Weber of Radar Pictures, Darren Lemke, Marigo Kehoe and Uta Briesewitz. Briesewitz is also ready to lead the first two episodes. Jordan's widow Harriet McDougal and Brandon Sanderson will act as advisory producers, with Pike also producing alongside the lead role. "The Wheel of Time" is co-produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television.
Stradowski is re-contracted by Favor Talents, Subtitle Talent and Felker Toczek. Robbins is supported by Authentic Talent and Literary Management and Lion Rock Management. Harris is re-performed by The Artists Partnership in the UK and CAA in the US. Rutherford is re-performed by Troika in the UK and Gersh in the US. Madden is re-listed by Grandview and Sue Barnett and Associates.
