The White Stripes performed their final concert 12 years ago at the Snowden Grove Amphitheater in Southaven, Mississippi. As Consequence of Sound points out, their entire recorded performance is now available for the first time. The White Stripes: Live in Mississippi can be streamed and downloaded via Nugs.net. It includes the band's 20-song set from July 31, 2007 as well as an addition of four songs. Tracks include "Icky Thump", "In the Cold, Cold Night", "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" and more.
The White Stripes' archivist and co-founder of Third Man Records, Ben Blackwell, released a statement on Nugs .net recalled the group's latest performance and the moment he realized it would be their last.
