Theft of the giant inflatable colon generates cancer awareness

It's 10 feet long, weighs 150 pounds, and delivers a Cancer Awareness message. And it is missing. A giant inflatable colon used to teach about the dangers of colon cancer was recently stolen by a pickup truck in Kansas City, Mo.

The Discarded Advertising Prop belongs to the Colon Cancer Coalition, a non-profit, which is a promotional wave of unconventional theft. The stolen inflatable even has its own social media hashtag #stolencolon.

"While we miss our educational tool, the awareness and awareness of colon cancer is a big bonus, consciousness is the giant colony's goal, we use it to start conversations, and our poor stolen Colon has done his work ̵

1; but we still want him back, "said Erin Peterson of the Colon Cancer Coalition to WKRC.

The inflatable organ was purchased with donations at "Get Your Rear in Gear" "Kansas City" events and was shipped in the Midwest for educational and community events.

"Get Your Rear in Gear" running and running events are the main activities of the coalition, with about 40 held annually throughout the country. For now, the coalition is trying to raise the $ 4,000 needed to buy a replacement double.
