Air travel is probably the worst. There are long queues, the food at the airport is always terrible, everyone is grumpy, someone is always late, and who the hell has decided to take a lanky baby on a flight at five in the morning . There are still so many things to worry about that you probably will not be surprised. "Hey, what about bedbugs?" Well, my friends. I have bad news.
According to Fox5NY, bed bug-infested seats on Air India flights from Newark Liberty International Airport were sighted to India. This may not sound like a bad idea, you may even be able to persuade yourself that you never fly to India, what matters. But those bed bugs had to get there somehow. And whoever left them on the plane probably left a few around the airport.
People were understandably angry about it.
And the babies I mentioned earlier? Well, there is a case of a baby being covered with bites and bleeding. Which is pretty horrible. People who go on vacation have just traveled to India to take a longer medical vacation.
The world is so terrible, my friends. In all its battles, is kind of nice to be able to get out of the rest of the world on a long flight. No phone calls, no messages, no Facebook posts anyone would want you to pretend to take care of.
But, no. We can not even have that one moment in the sky. We have to worry about bed bugs.
Which also makes me curious how often these airplanes are cleaned. Ugh.
