These D & D cubes have a genuine sapphire set on one side, which costs $ 300

Dungeons & Dragons turns 45 this year and its best-selling fifth edition is five years old. To celebrate, the publisher Wizards of the Coast offers a wild cube set. The $ 300 set of polyhedra is made of bright aluminum, and the D20 contains a laboratory-made sapphire. Only 1,974 sets are made. They are manufactured by Level Up Dice and will be launched on November 21st.

"When the D & D team found that the sapphire is the traditional jubilee stone for both five and forty-five years and adds a lab-made sapphire to one. A twenty-sided dice would not jeopardize the integrity of a roll, we could not miss the chance to do something really cool to celebrate the milestones, "said Nathan Stewart, the vice president responsible for the D & D franchise.
