This NASA photo proves the moon landing was fake, conspiracy theorists say

An archived NASA photo allegedly shows evidence that the moon landing was wrong. According to a conspiracy theorist, the boulders in the background are not simple stones, but actually something else. ( NASA )

An archived NASA photo provides further evidence for the claim that the moon landing was wrong, according to a conspiracy theorist.

There is evidence that the moon landing actually took place, but there remains a group of people who believe that it was all a joke. After looking at the NASA photo, which side will you be on?

NASA photo allegedly shows structure on the moon

The picture in question shows John W. Young, commander of the Apollo 1

6 moon landing mission, collecting samples from the lunar surface. The description of the photo states that the Lunar Roving Vehicle was parked under "the field of large boulders in the background".

According to a video uploaded on the UFOmania YouTube channel, the rocks shown in the picture are not just rocks, but "habitat formation, spaceship and additional personnel".

There are two suggestions as to what really happened with the moon landing. The first suggestion is that the whole thing was staged and the pictures and videos were taken in a studio that looks like the moon. Following this idea, the background structure of the image may have been part of the studio where the moon landing was filmed.

The second suggestion is meanwhile more sinister. Some believe that Apollo 16 astronauts have found evidence of extraterrestrial life on the Moon, and most of the images and videos have been edited to remove all instances of evidence. The image could then be thought to show one of these alien structures.

However, most commentators on the YouTube video remain adamant that the things in the background of the image are really just rocks. However, conspiracy theorists will continue to say otherwise, and it's up to you to decide what to believe.

Man on the Moon

NASA recently released a 4K video showing the lunar surface of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. The spacecraft's work will help launch plans for manned missions to the moon in the future.

President Vladimir Putin has meanwhile confirmed that the Russian space program is planning to send astronauts to the moon in a modern space race the United States and Japan. Russia plans to build a space station on the lunar orbit and then put modules on the moon itself.

Whether the astronauts find evidence of extraterrestrial life on the moon remains unclear. However, one thing they are sure to find there is space junk, as previous missions left 400,000 pounds of garbage on the moon.
