Asif Raja, a native Pakistani, now British bus driver, has won local awards for Best Director and Best Actor for a feature film. He lives in Paddock, United Kingdom. He has created a Bollywood-style feature film with only his cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy S8 +. Special emphasis is placed on the "straight", because Asif had no budget – literally!
The Movie, Ehsaas is a 50-minute film about the genres of thrill and romantic drama. The word Ehsaas means "realization," which is a perfect description of what the film contains. The lead actor in the film is Asif Raja himself. He is portrayed as a victim of online fraud, trying to recapture his hard-earned money throughout the movie.
Asif Raja said he hopes that the youth of Pakistan will follow suit and retain their reluctance in the entertainment industry. He repeats how he was able to shoot an award-winning film only on his cell phone and with no financial budget, eliminating the usual cliché of claiming millions of rupees to make a film.
The film was filmed Several locations near Yorkshire over a period of 3 months. The trailer was released last year while the entire movie will be released in Pakistan and YouTube over the coming months.
He proudly boasted that he used native Pakistani talents in the film, including Mehmood Sultan, who played the role of a judge in the critically acclaimed Dramafilm 201
Asif noticed that the feedback he received was amazing. His work has been recognized and accredited by many newspapers and other media. He intends to undertake larger projects to improve his lifestyle and provide opportunities for youth to learn and grow.
