A 3-year-old girl shot her pregnant mother in a parking lot in Illinois and injured her with a loaded pistol she found in the car, according to police and local reports.
The bullet penetrated the car seat and struck The 21-year-old mother said Tuesday afternoon in a Merrillville shopping arcade in the shoulder, police said
According to the Times of Northwest Indiana, the woman should be at least six weeks pregnant be.
Some witnesses heard the lonesome shots while others heard the woman's screams of pain and stumbled out of the car with bleeding blood, WFQX-TV reported.

Another viewer said that the father, who was in Plato's closet, knocked out in disbelief and screamed out in disbelief.
"The little kid was standing next to her and said nothing, just out of breath," said WFQX-TV, shop assistant, Hadassah Zirkle.
Zirkle said employees took the daughter and 1-year-old son of the woman to the store to keep her away from the crime scene.
Police said the father hid the 9mm gun in the center console to go into the second-hand clothing store.
"It should never have happened, should be locked in the trunk and unloaded," Merrillville police chief Joe Petruch said during a press conference
The father was arrested after the shootings, which the police consider to be an accident. He is under charge for danger.
