"A League of Its Own" and "Big" star Tom Hanks used social media on Tuesday to pay tribute to director Penny Marshall.
"Goodbye, Penny. Man, we laughed a lot! I wish we could still. I love you. Hanx " he wrote after news came from her death.
Marshall, who died of diabetes complications on Monday at the age of 75, led Hanks in both films.
