Two North Carolina civil servants reportedly been disciplined last month on a Outer Banks ferry for a big trump flag.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation's Ferry Department said in a statement Friday that the workers who flew the flag violated state law, the Oracoke Current
reported, "It is independent of political affiliation not appropriate to bring any war material on a state-owned ship, "it says in the statement paper. "The crew member and the ferry captain involved in the incident received a seven-day suspension without pay for unacceptable personal behavior."
The DOT examined a photograph of the Trump flag flying aboard the MV Frisco between Oracoke and Hatteras, the newspaper reported.
A spokesman for the Fährivision, Tim Hass, said the MV Frisco just made a run with the Trump flag, WRAL-TV reported.
The Raleigh News u. Observers reported in July that Catherine Mitchell shared a photo of the flag on the Facebook page of the North Carolina Ferry System
"I love our ferries, I love our ferry people, it does not make me happy," the newspaper said I'm sorry, but is that legal? How would the person who flew that flag have a feeling for a Hillary Clinton flag? I thought that government services should serve all and not be political. "
