President Donald Trump once again changed his tone with regard to China and said that Beijing wants to negotiate a trade agreement on Monday at the G7 summit in France.

"He asked me," Trump told reporters Monday. "I do not think that's disrespectful at all."

In the meantime, Trump also said his Miami resort is a "great place" for next year's G-7 to be held in the US.

"We have not found anything that could compete with him," said the president of the Trump National Doral Resort.


Tropical Storm Dorian could be a hurricane when it reaches Puerto Rico.
