Trump deplores Paris Climate Agreement as protests in France
"The Paris Agreement does not work so well for Paris," Trump tweeted on Saturday morning. "Protests and riots all over France People do not want to pay a lot of money to Third World countries (who are run questionably) to protect the environment." Chanting "We Want Trump!" Love France.
Trump's tweet comes when French police arrested more than 200 people in Paris during a fourth demonstration weekend and fired tear gas on demonstrators.

The demonstrations in Paris broke out into the worst riots that France has experienced for decades, and a political crisis for French President Emmanuel Macron. The movement began as a rebuke to the country's fuel price increases and developed into a broader protest against the pressures of the pressure and anger of the Macron government.
In his tweet on Saturday, Trump also reiterated that the Paris protesters "we want to have sung." Trump "- a claim that remains unfounded
Macron has been a champion of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement since assuming office in May 2017 and reaffirms his commitment when Trump announced last year that he is withdrawing the United States from the agreement
Many of the protesters – known as "Gilets Jaunes" or "Yellow West" – are furious with Macron for expanding the environmental policy he had carried out under his predecessor François Hollande.
On Tuesday, French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced that the planned tax hike – part of climate change measures – will be delayed by six months from January 1 to mid-2019 to quell the protests. "I am glad that my friend (Macron ) and the protesters in Paris agreed to my conclusion, which I reached two years ago, "Trump tweeted on Tuesday." The Paris Agreement is fatally flawed because it raises energy prices for the responsible countries and cleans some of the world's worst polluters. "
The next day, Macron's office announced that the tax hikes would not be introduced in 2019.
