Trump Jr.'s comments come just days after his dad unleashed some of his weakest criticisms of the US media and a week after Attorney General William Barr released a four-page summary of the report by Mueller, in which he said that the Special Prosecutor found no evidence of a collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
