President Trump said he had been briefed by naval pilots on the detection of unidentified flying objects, but remained skeptical of the existence of UFOs.
George Stephanopoulos of ABC News addressed the problem in an interview with Trump released on Saturday. PENTAGON FINALLY GIVES EXAMINATION OF UFOs
"I've been beaten in recent weeks, and we're seeing more and more reports from Navy pilots seeing lots and lots of UFOs," Stephanopoulos said to a smiling Trump. "Were you informed, what do you think of that?"
"I want them to think what they think," Trump replied, referring to the Navy pilots. "I had a very brief meeting, but people say they see UFOs, do I think so, not particularly."
The Navy recently announced that it would update the guidelines for reporting its pilots on "unidentified aircraft". in response to reports of strange sightings. Navy strike group pilots reported seeing strange objects flying at supersonic speeds over 30,000 feet, with no visible engine or infrared emissions, according to The New York Times.
