When [CoryDoctorow needed a babysitter, he decided to send a text: "Hey, can you sit down?"
Google's autocomplete thought it might be fun to add three pretty specific words: "on my face".
"In other words, sit on my face".
Which is probably not what you want to write to your babysitter.
Maybe not Google that?
BuzzFeed reports that Google is aware of the problem and already has a fix, but CNET can confirm that it is not completely rolled out yet. (We've just made it appear on a CNET editor – though unfortunately I could not reproduce it on my personal.)
So, now you have a funny thing to share with friends this weekend! Try it for as long as you can, people.
P.S.. Sadly, a Google Home called "sitting on my face" just called a Pandora radio channel. But I listen to a lot of it in my house.
