ISTANBUL, April 30 (Reuters) – Here are news, reports and events that may affect the Turkish financial markets on Monday.
The lira stood at 4.0535 against the US dollar at 0353 GMT, little changed from the Friday's close at 4.0430.
The yield on the 10-year benchmark bond was 12.23 percent for spot trading on Friday.
The main stock index BIST 100 rose 0.56 percent to 107,614.27 on Friday.
Asian equities rallied on Monday as tensions eased on the Korean peninsula and earnings rose in the first quarter, although some investors were cautious amid escalating US-China trade disputes.
The Turkish Central Bank will hold a briefing on its Inflation Report at 0700 GMT, having increased its late liquidity rate by 75 basis points last week.
The Statistics Institute will release trade data for March at 0700 GMT.
The Ministry of Tourism will announce tourism revenues for the first quarter of 201
Erdogan is on an official visit to Uzbekistan.
Yildirim will attend a Cabinet meeting at 1100 GMT.
