WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Uber Technologies Inc [UBER.UL] is set to be a one-stop shopping app, offering new services such as car-sharing and train tickets on Wednesday.
Later this month, the Ride Hailing Company will be in San Francisco Start Uber Rent in partnership with Getaround, a private car rental peer-to-peer car sharing service.

Uber also announced a partnership with Masabi, which offers mobile public transport tickets to allow customers to book and use train, bus and ferry tickets.
Uber also builds Uber Bike from JUMP to Washington, D.C. after being launched in San Francisco earlier this year, and new efforts to promote car sharing.
Uber vows to work with US cities, which Khosrowshi noted will see an increasing percentage of the country's population. The company had at times a controversial relationship with some major cities.
He said the company supports a number of transportation solutions.
"This will include bikes, and that will include buses and subways, etc., and we want to be part of the solution," he said, adding that Uber shares more data with cities to help them overuse ,
In the future, Uber is less concerned with simply booking a car than traveling "from point to level with a variety of transit options," he said.
A big challenge, he added, was the future "We need to solve the problem of car ownership," Khosrowshahi said.
"As an asset class, cars are very inefficient," he added, noting that cars are idle 95 percent of the time. " We need to work together to make sure that life in a city … does not require you to own a car. "
