Ubisoft Changes Club Reward Points System in 2019 – Game Rant

For anyone who played any of Ubisoft's games, they have probably noticed each time an achievement or trophy is unlocked. They also earn so-called club units. Club units are a form of currency that is used internally in all Ubisoft games, from Far Cry to Assassin's Creed, as well as through the purchase of Ubisoft stores ,

Units previously earned by players were always accessible, regardless of when they were rewarded. This means that units that were earned by playing throughout the year in 2009 could be cashed in Assassin's Creed II to buy an in-game Assassin's Creed Odyssey without having to spend real money. However, starting in early 2019 Ubisoft will change how long players have to use their respective units.

As of April 1, 2019, club units will only be available in a player's digital wallet for up to two years. Thereafter, the units disappear from their available resources. If the change comes into effect on the scheduled date, the first points awarded to players before March 31, 2017 will be canceled. As you might expect, the earliest points in a player's wallet fall first when you buy the best chance of preventing units from being wasted.

Setting club-issue time limits could be seen as a way for Ubisoft to invest players in the titles months after they were released. With live service games such as Rainbow Six Siege, the imminent launch of The Division 2 and the Push to Support of Assassin's Creed Odyssey With a steady flow of new content, Ubisoft anticipates these changes over the next few years in terms of player long-term investment. Those who start alleviating any Ubisoft titles may get caught in the trap of forgetting to spend units on digital goodies they want, giving a small incentive to return to a match.

What's good to see is that Ubisoft is ahead of the game with its new club reward layout. During this time, which the studio calls a transitional period, nobody will see that one of their units disappears. Those who have deposited a lot of units, either by a choice or by neglecting the Ubisoft store, should go into the game and get the weapons or outfits they want, if they do not have "play-to-win" in the game. -Purchase options have or even get on time for the holidays an attractive discount on the online store of the company.
