Dana White has a grudge? Who would have thought that?
The UFC president had a big and highly successful evening at UFC 239. His two champions emerged victorious and doubles champion Amanda Nunes scored Holly a huge Higlight headbutt against Holly. It was just the last violent end for Nunes, who has now destroyed a Who's Who of WMMA from Ronda Rousey to Cris Cyborg and all in between.
But for such a destroyer, she did not always get the honor or attention she deserves. One could argue that in recent years the UFC has spent a lot of time promoting too little. She ignored her in the run-up to her fight with Ronda Rousey and then actively buried her after retiring from a fight weekend of sinusitis.
But as ready as Dana White has been to throw one of his stars or be a star under the bus, if she crosses him, he strangely protects them from them too. When Nunes Cris defeated Cyborg in December 201
Brutally harmful to UFC.
Nunes is not in the same marketing standard as either.

White responded strongly to stupidly considering Rovell's opinion as stupid and questioning what he knew about mixed martial arts. And seven months later, he does not sound quite like the accusation that Nunes is bad for business.
"This guy likes big attention, okay?" White said at the press conference after the fight. "This guy likes attention and I'll pay more attention to him, you know, he says the worst thing that happened tonight was that Amanda won Nunes, not a star for the UFC, that's the kind of stupidity that we hear. "
Never said Amanda Nunes was not a star for this sport. She is. She's just not marketable, and like Ronda, to some degree Holly and even Paige Van Zant, she's not relevant outside the octagon. There is no evidence to prove otherwise. pic.twitter.com/GFvXdNaizN

And while White admits that Nunes is still in the time when she is not # 39; As a true superstar, he has not understood her correctly yet. He points to Chuck Liddell, who was in the same spot until he froze Tito Ortiz.
"The numbers tonight were off the charts and they were part of it," White added. "It was a great map and a map many people were looking forward to. She is the co-main event. I tell you that all the time. I do not stop this stupidity about someone who says she is not a star. They have no idea what they are talking about. I do not listen to the stuff. "
Rovell responded to White's recent comments with a tweet saying" Never said Amanda Nunes was not a star for this sport. She is. She's just not marketable, and like Ronda, to some degree Holly and even Paige VanZant, she's not relevant outside the octagon. There is no evidence to prove otherwise. "
