UNOVA ̵
1; Generation V

IT is here – Generation V! After almost a year of release of Generation 4 and 38.5 months of Pokémon Go, we travel to Unova. We experienced this generation for the first time in 2010 with Pokémon Black and White. If you've never played these games before, it's good to know that Black and White (B / W) has completely reset the main series. For the first time, NO previous Pokémon were available in the wild. This resulted in a total of 156 new Pokémon, many of which were imitations, copies, perfections, etc. of existing Pokémon, especially Generation I. Do not worry, as in 2012 much feedback on Black 2 and White 2 came out and added more areas and brought back many old favorites from all five generations.

There is no indication which Generation V Pokémon will be released in Week 3. However, we certainly know three publications: Patrat, Lillipup and Klink. The first two Pokémon are the normal evolution food. While there are a few more in this category, they could be released a little later in another wave. Klink seems to be the Generation V equivalent of Shinx, only in Raids, the three-stage evolution, and Shiny from day one.

Recent tweets from Official Pokémon Go suggest that the three starters will also be released. These three Pokémon are Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott. All three will not be shining as this is expected to happen on their respective community days (March, May and July 2020).

The Twitter clues continue with the Ghost type Yamask. Does this mean that the Ghost Pokémon will be released this week or is it already hinting at the Halloween event? Read our Pokemon GO Gen 5 Meta (Early Look, Part 1): Non-Legendary Pokemon with Metapotential .

Two Raids

MEWTWO IS BACK – and this time it's SHINY! I can not be the only one screaming inside. It is twice the favorite of coaches around the world, arguably the best attacker in the game, still very relevant to the media and not available for a year. Do not worry, it's the normal form, not the armored form we saw recently. In addition, Mewtwo can learn the batch Move Psystrike this time. Although this new move does not have the DPS of Psychic or the Legacy Move Shadow Ball, it is a great move and can still be buffed. If you need help against Mewtwo, read our guides and heat maps. TLDR – Gengar & Giratina.

Remember 18 September 2019 from 18:00. until 7 pm In your local time zone there is a raid happy hour for Mewtwo. This should not be overlooked. Personally, I made 20 during a raid happy hour and got 3 Shiny Rays the first time, the second time 0. The most important thing is to find a place and a group. The more raids you perform, the higher the chance you will get a shine.

A side note with only a single T5 raid boss, Egg and Raid timers are likely to use the original 1-hour Egg and 45-minute Raid system.

Week 3 T1-4 Raid Bosses

We have not yet seen the full extent of the T1-4 Raid bosses available in Week 3. But Niantic said, "Do you need a good team to take on Mewtwo? Other Pokémon appearing in raids will help you build a good team to challenge the genetic Pokémon. "This most likely means Dark and Ghosts Pokémon from week 2 to week 3.

One notable exception is the Gear Pokémon Klink, which was officially confirmed by Niantic for Raids. Which level is unknown, but it is known that Shiny Klink will be available. Klink is a pure Steel Pokémon ; therefore it is weak for fire fighting and ground . This means that there are many great brands, including: Breloom, Entai, Blaziken, Flareon, Heatean, etc.

Kanto Regionals

The four regional Pokémon from the Kanto region still hatch from 7km of eggs. With the now available Shiny shapes and 1/2 egg intervals, there is really no reason not to hatch as much as possible. Reports from week 2 show that these 4 regions have high hatching rates, but the Shiny rates are low, along with a 75 percent change to get an egg of presents. Do not be discouraged and send gifts to all your friends every day. The Adventure Box still exists and there are a lot with 15 super incubators and 2 regular incubators. However, the Ultra-Box may be better this week with only 10 Super Incubators, but 14 Raid passes. Both boxes cost 1,480 PokéCoins (we do not know when these boxes will disappear.)

Egg Hatch Distance

Guide and Event Priorities [3] Week 3 increases the excitement level for the Ultra Bonus to 11th Shiny Mewtwo and a Release Generation V! It's definitely hard to stem the hype. It's definitely a good time to clean up the Pokémon storage box in the fall and think about raising the limit. It is now limited to 2500. Gen V will add a lot of Pokémon, many of which will be Meta relevant.

Top Priorities

  1. Attack Your Face . Two Facts: The more mewtwo raids you perform, the better your chances of getting a shine. You will catch 0% of shinies that you do not attack. That's what Raid, Raid, Raid, Raid and Raid said … Just like Shiny Rayquaza, Shiny Mewtwo is a must, but this time it's only a week. Join Egg Hatch and I'm sure you can make new friends. At least 3 coaches are needed to defeat Mewtwo, but you can do it.
  2. Raid Happy Hour . September 18, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm local time is the Mewtwo Raid Happy Hour. It must not be missing.
  3. Hunt for Gene V . Disappear and search for the new Unova Pokémon. Some will occur more often than others, and when the starters are released, the prevalence varies by region. But this week they should definitely be everywhere in higher numbers.
  4. Gift & Hatch . The only way to reach the Kanto Regionals beyond their respective regions is through 7km of eggs; 7 km eggs are only purchased from gifts. This means being a generous friend and opening your gifts wisely. Remember to make sure there are both egg slots and space in your Pokémon storage.
  5. Maximizing the use of the incubator. The effectiveness of the incubator is doubled for a third week. Make sure you keep your free incubator as active as possible. Also, make sure that Adventure Sync is turned on. As you move between raids and hunt for Gen V-Pokémon, your distance increases and you should be able to hatch numerous eggs every day.
