UN releases its first Braille deck

Today the popular card game UNO released its first Braille deck. Mattel's new deck, created in partnership with the National Federation for the Blind, allows blind or visually impaired players to easily play the legendary game. The special deck is now available only at Target. It is unclear whether this will change in the future or whether this is a permanent unique selling proposition for the retailer. In the meantime, players can learn how to play through Audible. Special instructions can be found here.

In terms of cost, it's only $ 4 more than normal. A standard UNO deck costs $ 6 at Target. The new Braille deck costs $ 10. The product itself is provided on all 112 braille and packaging cards.

As expected, praise for Mattel has become a great one Earned praise to make his card game even more accessible. Hopefully, this kick will start more card games, making their game more accessible by adding braille options.
