Toby Fox, the indie developer behind the hit Undertale, has released a special treat for Halloween. His latest game, Deltarune, has been released for free on his official website. You can now download it for PC or Mac.
Fox started the game yesterday. "For those who have completed Undertale, it's really important that you review [the Undertale Twitter account] in 24 hours," Fox said. "I want to create something new and it all starts with your feedback."
This teaser might imply a direct connection between Undertale and Deltarune, or perhaps just a guess that anyone who's interested in Fox would like to check it out, or he'll have his sleeve up. In particular, "Deltarune" is an anagram of Undertale. Undertale is full of secrets and secrets, some of which are not yet clear. The fan community pore over details and clues to unlock their secrets. This latest game can help fill some gaps. It seems to be more of a proof-of-concept than a complete game that Fox suggested with his commentary on feedback.
