Dylan "Rudeism" Beck – the twitch streamer who plays "games wrong" – created a crazy controller to play the Untitled Goose Game by the developer House. In a live stream last night, Rudeism showed off his latest creation: He himself, as a goose, wears a rig that helps him play Untitled Goose Game .
Here's how it works: Movement is tied to fins on his feet, but he controls the direction with a thumb stick. To move, he has to go in place and hobble like a goose. A pair of white gloves are attached to control the wings of the goose. If he wants to beat the wings of his goose, he has to beat his own wings. Of course, Rudeism has a white sheet he draped over himself to give a goose-like look.
In Untitled Goose Game is one of the most important controls the honking. Rudeism has created a voice activated beak that he has strapped to his face. Oddly enough, there's blood everywhere in his beak, but he was pretty shy about how he hurt himself during the creation process.
If it sounds complex, that's because Rudeism had to tie itself to the controllers in a process that takes a long time. At the 25-minute mark of his video, Rudeism could start playing Untitled Goose Game . Unfortunately, Rudeism is an extremely exhausting way to experience the game. After a while, Rudeism had to move from his squatting position to a chair where he could still stomp his feet to move.
His geese controller lasted about an hour before breaking, and switched to another of his creations: the Rocket League guitar controller. Luckily, Rudeism wrote on Twitter that he will fix the cabling of the goose and do more this week .
