ATHENS: Police in Greece announced on Thursday (July 11) that a 59-year-old American scientist whose body had been found earlier this week in a deserted bunker on the island of Crete was killed by evil machinations be.  "This was a crime, death by suffocation," police source AFP said.
The body of Suzanne Eaton, a molecular biologist at the Max Planck Institute of the University of Dresden, was found on Monday near the city of Chania, almost a week after her last on July 2 was seen by friends.
