We keep emphasizing the importance of social media during the San Diego Comic-Con. That way, you can stay in touch, find out when your favorite stalls are performing random goodie drops, and more. However, outside of social media such as Twitter and Facebook, there are some mobile apps that can make life much easier for you during the SDCC. Let's take a look.
. 1 The Official International Comic-Con App
If you have not downloaded them, consider really . It's not the best technologically advanced app you've ever seen, but it's only a few years before the place it was – and it's incredibly useful. It contains the schedule for every five days. You can browse it, see a full description of the panel, and much more. There is also a list of exhibitors (who can click to see exactly where they are on the basemap!), Maps, some offsite details, and more.
2. Compass Cloud – The App for the Metropolitan Transit System
We've written about this very handy app last week, but if you plan to do the trolley system of San Diego at all To use around, that's the way to do it. The MTS not only offers discounts for participants during the Comic-Con (unlimited use of $ 5 for a day), but also has a map of all stops and real-time information.
If you are not traveling on the Comic-Con shuttle or trolley route, there is also UBER. They carry you pretty much everywhere, giving you the price in advance (which is usually much cheaper than a taxi). This is also a great way to get to the Comic-Con Museum, as there are NO shuttles this year.
