It’s been three months since she lost husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna to a helicopter crash.
But Vanessa Bryant’s daughters Natalia, Bianka and Capri made sure that her 38th birthday did not pass without notice when the trio teamed up to present her with a beautiful array of flowers.
She shared the elegant display and hugged her loving daughters in a photo she posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
Many thanks to my girls for ordering these flowers and piñatas for mom. ❤️, she wrote, adding a birthday cake emoji and the hashtags: #CincodeMayo, #TacoTuesday and # micumpleaños or my birthday.
Loving family: Vanessa Bryant shared a photo of herself with her daughters Natalia, Biaka and Capri after giving her a stunning selection of her favorite flowers in her fountain for her birthday, along with some playful piñatas for Cinco de Mayo
In the picture, a smiling Vanessa hugged her three surviving daughters against a floral background.
Fittingly, the girls included a number of piñatas hanging from the palm trees around the fountain to celebrate the Mexican holidays.
Her oldest daughter, 17-year-old Natalia, towered over her with a white long-sleeved graphic shirt and denim shorts in distressed jeans.
Three-year-old Bianka looked cute in a white dress with floral patterns, and Vanessa had dressed her youngest, 10-month-old Capri in a pink dress that her daughter Gianna, aka Gigi, wore as a baby.
Beautiful: she shared a nice close-up of the flowers floating in the fountain
Too cute: your eldest daughter Natalia shared a sweet note about the birthday presents and promised to be your Lucy always the Ethel!
The girls had filled the fountain with pink and red roses, and the top of the fountain had been decorated with pale pink and purple flowers.
Vanessa shared a close-up photo of the flowers sprinkled with water as they floated on the water.
She also shared a sweet birthday note that Natalia wrote for her special day.
“You are the strongest person I know and I am so grateful to have you as my mother!” She wrote and added, “I’ll always be the Ethel for your Lucy!”
“Love of my life”: Vanessa found a love letter from her husband Kobe in a helicopter crash three months after his death
The previous Tuesday, Vanessa had remembered her romance with her late husband Kobe, whom she called “the love of my life” after discovering a love letter from him.
She revealed that she had saved a special declaration of love that she could read on her birthday.
Sharing a photo of her hand that covered the front of the envelope, she wrote, “Yesterday I found an envelope that said To: The love of my life. By Tu Papi.
I was waiting to open another letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today. ‘
Vanessa explained that Kobe had chosen a picture for the front of the card in a heartbreaking turn, on which Vanessa was held by an angel.
She added: “The irony is that Kobe has drawn a photo of me with an angel holding me up on the cover by an artist. I miss the love of my life and my sweet little Mamacita – my fellow bull.
“I am thankful that I woke up with my three cute girls today. I wish we were all together. #MyBirthdayWish ‘she closed her caption.
