Warning for millions of Microsoft Windows 10 users

Microsoft has a quality control issue .Windows 10 updates are currently causing a minefield with some updates ] More problems than they fix, and now new warnings suggest that the latest Windows 10 update could be one of the worst.

The September update KB4515384 is already a threat . It was introduced to fix CPU spikes . reportedly interrupted the Windows 10 Search, Start menu, Action Center, USB connections, and audio issues . And now it's lively for your internet access.

Windows Latest has detected that users in the Microsoft Community Forum, in the Windows 10 Feedback Hub, and on social networks report that network adapters no longer work after applying this fix. Affected users seem to primarily have Intel chipsets (Asus, MSI and Gigabyte motherboards are mentioned), and their Ethernet as well as their WiFi connections are affected.

"The Cumulative Update (KB4515384) causes the NIC to fail with a Code 10 error," warns a user in the Windows 10 Feedback Hub. "Reinstalling network drivers from Intel or Windows Update sources does not resolve the problem. However, remove the fix from the Programs and Software window or use a restore point * before * the update completely fixes the problem. "

" KB4515384 is corrupting Ethernet and Wi-Fi adapters on my PC, "explained another in the Hub." Appears as if new devices named "# 2" were created and hidden in Device Manager Uninstalling this / new or old driver does not solve the problems (ie "Ethernet not connected", which is clearly not the case) .This update could only be uninstalled.
