Torrance's forecast: – Good evening people, the winter weather does not let go of its reach in northern New England. Overnight we are still fighting between snow, sleet and ice storm. A winter weather consultation is still in force until 8 pm on Sunday. Here's what to expect
Saturday afternoon & overnight : Cooler air moves farther south from Quebec, and snow / sleet is found in the north near the international border. The snow will at times be moderate and affect visibility. During this time, the road conditions will be iced! If you need to travel, leave a lot of time and space on the roads. The overnight lows will settle in the early teens and mid-20s. Wind will be 10-20mph from the north.
Sunday : Snow, sleet and periods of freezing rain will continue for much of Sunday. Sturman clusters reach about 2-5 "sleet / snow and up to a third of an inch of ice accumulation, reaching heights in the low to mid-thirties in the afternoon.Shared power losses are possible due to the weight of ice on limbs, and streamlines Decrease daily between 5-10mph from north.
Sunday Night : Warmer air will rise from the south, so our winter mix may change to rain from the valley. Temperatures rise from the low 30s to the 40. It also gets gusty, the wind is from the southeast 15-20mph, with gusts near 30mph.
Monday : A few winter showers will start the day over the highest peaks otherwise we will see a mushy day of moderate to heavy rain approaching an inch of new rain, which will lead to strong rises in the rivers and rivers utwache will take effect on Monday afternoon until Tuesday. Ally it will be very windy. A high wind watch for the western slopes of the Green Mountains for gusts between 50-60 mph.
