The Los Angeles Angels game with Japanese star Shohei Ohtani scheduled for Kansas City was postponed due to the cold weather on Sunday.
The game will be played in Kansas City on June 25
Ohtani will start against the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday after a fishing-free day on Monday, when the club opens a six-game home stand in Anaheim.
The Angels Royals game was the sixth game that was postponed by the weather on Sunday. The last time that six MLB games were postponed was September 12, 2008.
A split dual in Detroit between the New York Yankees and Tigers, along with a game in Cleveland between the Toronto Blue Jays and Native Americans and one Chicago's game between the Cubs and the Atlanta Braves were all postponed on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers announced that the games will be moved on Monday, June 4, as part of a split doubles game, with the first game starting at 1
The Blue Jays Indians game was rescheduled as part of a double header on May 3. The Blue Jays and Indians had also postponed Saturdays game.  The Cubs Braves game will be played on May 14th.
The Chicago White Sox-Minnesota Twins game was postponed Saturday night due to heavy snowfall in the Twin Cities.
