Welcome our new Apple Arcade Forum! – TouchArcade

Earlier this week, Apple Arcade went live prematurely for those running the Beta for iOS 13. The official launch is scheduled for tomorrow, September 19, when iOS 13 goes live. If you do not know what Apple Arcade is, it's Apple's new premium subscription-based gaming service, available right in the App Store app on your device. Apple Arcade has its own tab at the bottom of the App Store. For $ 4.99 per month, you get access to more than 50 games, with new games coming out every week. In total, more than 100 games have been confirmed for service, and nearly 100 developers have signed up to create games for the service. Because of my time with the beta version of Apple Arcade in the last few days, it's almost incomprehensible that I have unlimited access to these many high-quality games for just $ 4.99 a month without any ads or in-app Purchase is in sight.

However, there is a kind of strange side effect of Apple Arcade. If you throw dozens of fantastic games in the lap of another player at once, you suffer from a choice paralysis. Which of these many games should you play? Apple does a great job on the Apple Arcade tab, highlighting different genres and providing videos and descriptions for everything. Nevertheless, it is, to say the least, overwhelming. TouchArcade has always endeavored to bring the good games to light, and much of it has come from incorporating our community, especially in our forums. I thought it would be convenient to have a central hub to discuss all the games on Apple Arcade, and since the service differs from your regular App Store releases, I found that it deserves its own special, separate forum. Allow me to say …

Welcome to our brand new Apple Arcade Forum!

(Yes, that's a huge link you can click above to visit the new forum.)

Here you will find separate discussion threads for each game currently available in the version of Apple Arcade that is live in the iOS 1

3 beta. Also, I'm slowly adding threads for games that are currently unavailable but have been approved for service. A prefix before each thread title will display either "Out Now" in green or "Coming Soon" in red to indicate whether the game in question is currently available in Apple Arcade or not. I believe that some of the beta games available for the official launch are not available. As a result, I may be able to put some of these threads from Out Now back on Coming Soon. But I think it will be nice to have a place to discuss every Apple Arcade game before and after it's released, and there are already some developers who are involved and answering questions to the players (Hi Zach Gage! ).

I created a Fixthread for the general Apple Arcade discussion where people can ask questions about service, offer ideas for things they would like to change or improve, and just post about anything What has to do with Apple Arcade does not quite fit into one of the dedicated game threads. You can also use this thread to post information about the Apple Arcade Forum itself, such as: For example, add new games or suggest changes or new features.

Finally, I've created a thread where you can suggest which Apple Arcade games you'd like to see on the front page of TouchArcade . We are an extremely small team with extremely limited resources, so it would be almost impossible to write and rate over 100+ games. In this forum, you can suggest which games you think should be prioritized with reporting and reviews. If certain games seem popular enough, we put them in the foreground.

Visit our brand new Apple Arcade Forum. Learn more about each game, watch some trailers, post your own comments or questions … that's what our community is about. And if you are not yet a member of our forum, you can register in just a few minutes here and join. Our forums and interaction with the community have long been a defining feature of what makes TouchArcade so great, and although the activity has declined over the years, I would like to draw on the lively and active discussions we have had on a daily basis , I hope Apple Arcade can return to its former glory with its abundance of new premium games without ads or free gameplay!
