For the second consecutive was due to a college football player an injury sustained on a kickoff return on a stretcher.

On Friday night, Western Michigan's Tucker seemed to suffer a head or neck injury, while a return in the first quarter of the Broncos' game blocked against the Syracuse Orange.

Tucker, a junior from New Jersey, had slightly lowered his head before the impact. The Syracuse defender's shoulder seemed to be in Tucker's head and neck area.

Tucker was in the field for several minutes while the athletic staff took care of him. He was placed on a backboard and placed on a stretcher with a movement in his arms .

Tucker was taken by radio to a local hospital.

We will update it as more information about Tucker's status becomes available.

Aaron Robinson of Central Florida was also taken on a stretcher on Thursday night after an injury at the opening.
