Over the last few years, I've tried at least two dozen language learning apps (visual, auditory, etc.) and how you like most with your device to interact.
For example, I hear a lot of playlists and podcasts on my phone and I know that I am easily addicted to silly mobile games. That means that I am interested in things that I can hear or play with.
If you're looking for an app, I'd start with more popular and higher rated apps like Duolingo, Babbel, or Rosetta Stone. All three options are available for iOS and Android devices, and all three include visual, auditory and written learning to actively engage you. Duolingo uses gamification to encourage you to use the app every day, which is pretty effective. Rosetta Stone has organized the gradual learning well. and Babbel uses "conversations" to guide you through courses.
Some I have not used yet but are curious are Memrise and Drops. The disadvantage of these apps, as with most language learning apps, is that there will almost inevitably be a subscription wall, which means you have to withdraw cash to get full access.
If you're familiar with something For the language you learn, consider downloading an app that encourages you to practice and use the language. Busuu, HelloTalk and Mondly all teach by interacting with others (usually via chat) who either speak or practice the language in native language.
Because it can be helpful to immerse yourself in the language you want to learn Maybe you also want to think beyond learning apps. I've used flashcard apps to refresh vocabulary, download podcasts in Spanish, and create telenovelas watchlists on Hulu. I've even created Spotify playlists (some apps, such as Learn Spanish with Lirica, assign the words to popular songs) and changed the settings in movies and TV shows so that the Spanish-language version ( The Incredibles )] was a particularly funny choice). If you're brave and know your phone's settings well enough, you can also change your phone's operating system to another language. Buena suerte!
