Oops? The official Twitter account for the White House was wrong on Friday, July 27, "United States."
A tweet at 11:55 pm ET contained an official statement from President Donald Trump about the country's economic situation: "If economic growth continues at this rate , the United States economy [sic] will double more than 1
The Post stayed on the White House's side for nearly five hours before it was cleared at around 3:30 pm But the faux pas have not gone unnoticed by other Twitter users.
"I do not know why anyone would believe that, when The @ WhiteHouse can no longer spell correctly" USA "." One person has tweeted. Another wrote, "Congratulations on everything the United States is …"

A third user pointed out that this is not the first time that the White House and Trump (72) have botched tweets. "This administration can not even spell" United States "correctly – if they can not do the little things right, how can we expect them to do the big things right?" Tweeted a critic. Another rebound: "Obama also knew how to spell USA."

The White House previously wrote the word "separation" as "separation" in an executive order signed by the president in June to end his controversial policy that separated families on the US-Mexico border. The White House also misrepresented the name of British Prime Minister Theresa May three times as "Teresa" in a memo about Trump's daily program in January.
