A small group of white nationalists interrupted a book review Saturday in DC's popular "Politics and Prose" bookstore during an event for the Antiracist Book Festival.
The interruption came when author Jonathan Metzl spoke about his latest book, "The Dying of the Whites": Like the politics of racial resentment, America's Heartland kills in politics and prose at the Connecticut Avenue site.  Metzl is a professor of psychology and sociology at Vanderbilt University.
A witness to the event told the WTOP that Metzl was speaking to those present, a crowd of less than a dozen people ̵
– Katy Cain (@ KatyCain526) April 27, 2019  The Grupp e apparently gave "AIM" to The American Identity Movement – a renaming of the white supremacist organization Identity Evropa, which had embarrassed by their involvement in the 2017 Rally Unite the Right in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The break did not last long and there was no physical contact between the demonstrators and the participants of the event were reported.
