Garcia, who hit a career Best .330 last season, hits .225 with a homer this year. Trayce Thompson replaced him  Next: Manager Rick Renteria wanted to see which helpers would be needed on Monday before settling for an appetizer for Tuesday decided. The original plan had starting Miguel Gonzalez Monday and Fulmer Tuesday, but Gonzalez was put on the 10-day DL with the right rotator cuff inflammation.
