White Sox Offensive comes to life with 10-4 victory over Mariners

Maybe it's a coincidence. Maybe not.

Hours After Encouraging News About Fallen Teammates Danny Farquhar, celebrated the White Sox with a hit parade that has not been seen since the opening day.

They greeted Mariner's right-hander Mike Leake so: triple, single, single, single, single, single, double. They became the first team since the Rocky Mountains 2014 to open a game with seven straight hits.

The leadoff triple came with the switch-hit Yoan Moncada, who doubled in the second, healed in the fourth (a 413-foot right-centered laser) and then … made two outs. He needed a single to become the seventh Sox player to hit the cycle and was watched and flown from the right.

0-4 victory: Jose Abreu, went down twice for his 12th career multihomer play.

"I'm mad at him," Abreu jokingly said of his compatriot, who does not beat for the cycle.

Moncada said, "It does not matter, we won."
