Who should hypothetically play Keanu in the MCU?

Photo: Amanda Edwards (Getty Images) Marvel Cinematic universe mastermind Kevin Feige is now determined to give half the Internet an aneurysm as well. Feige still convinced of the success of the MCU Avengers: Endgame today conducted an interview with Comicbook.com, in which he not only thought about Keanu Reeves, a genuinely good-looking Internet fanatic, in to unite one of his films, but the "we talk to him for almost every movie we make." Fig went on to say he did not know if or when Keanu would ever officially join the MCU, but by then the damage had already been done, and the Internet's big speculators had already turned into a bleak, unforgiving life.

And let's face it, our initial impulse is to do this a bit. To emphasize that our current collective obsession with Reeves is driven, at least in part, by his encounter with the very low standard of being just a famous male actor who just does not seem to be a piece of shit. Or that his gifts, significant as they may be, are only suitable for playing characters who are essentially Keanu Reeves, making him an excellent John Wick and a pretty shitty Taskmaster (or whoever). 1

Which leads us to the question of who would play Keanu if he went into the superhero game. Marvel is currently facing a sudden lack of heroes to be filled with films like Angelina Jolie's Eternals . A small Reevesian star power would not hurt if the company's mysterious Phase 4 is in full swing over the next few years. That fits very well together: Warlock is semi-robotic, distant and quasi-divine, all of which feels pretty clear Keanu traits. (He was also teased earlier in the MCU, courtesy of Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 .) Really, the only thing stopping him is the fact that Adam is closely related to the Infinity Stones and All of us are just a bit burned out on this particular mystical rock of late. In a similar cosmic sense, we would also buy him as a Silver Surfer, which would be fun. John Wick – a sort of recall to his old buddy Laurence Fishburne, who pronounced the character in 2007. [19659004] Or, if we still get fed up with Fantastic Four, why does not put [Reeves] in the role of the Great Man himself: Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds? Part of the character's appeal is that he is not evil or vicious after all. He's just a power, and who could make you feel better when you eat the entire planet than Keanu Reeves, everyone's online friend? And if we're speculating about Reeves-based villains, he might well be a good Kang The Conqueror, one of the few Avengers-level villains yet to be touched by the MCU]. Honestly, we'd be pretty much at this point take everything. Keanu Reeves: Honorary Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be amazing, now that we think about it; He could shoot the shit for a minute with the hulk and then look for his next script as everyone runs around solving the next big crisis.
