The big one is, of course, what really happened to Madeleine? While the show by director Chris Smith explores several theories, she does not conclude the mystery of the three-year Madeleine, who disappeared in May 2007 on holiday with her parents in Portugal, not conclusive.
The next question may be: why are not Madeleine's parents like that?
interviewed for documentation?
Gerry and Kate McCann decided not to participate in the documentary.
The parents of Madeleine, Gerry and Kate McCann, said recently that filmmakers had approached them about the appearance of the documentary, but had not decided to do so.
The couple released a brief statement on the series published on FindMadeleine.com:
It is known that Netflix
plans to feature a documentary on Madelein's disappearance in March 2019. The production company told us that they made the documentary and asked us to participate. We have not seen and still do not see how this program will help in the search for Madeleine and, in particular, in the face of active police investigations, this may hinder this. As a result, our views and preferences are not reflected in the program.
The couple added that they "will not continue
Statements or interviews about this program. "
" Kate and Gerry and their other family and friends were
approached a few months ago to participate in the documentary, "Clarence
Mitchell, the former spokesman for the family, related

Help find Maddie on a practical level so that you decide not to get involved.
Were the McCanns suspects in the disappearance of their daughter?
Madeleine, McCann's eldest daughter, disappeared from an apartment in a resort in Praia da Luz, Portugal, while her parents were in a restaurant about 180 yards away. The parents had repeatedly returned to the apartment to check on Madeleine and her two-year-old twin siblings who were all asleep while Kate and Gerry had dinner with friends. When they searched for the children at 10:00 pm, they discovered that Madeleine was missing.
A search for Madeleine began, but the little girl was there
nowhere to be found. About a week after their disappearance, Portuguese police
call a British-Portuguese man a suspect, but he was finally cleared.
In September 2007, the police called the McCanns suspects when their daughter disappeared. One theory was that Madeleine was accidentally killed and her parents tried to cover it up. In July 2008, the McCanns were released as suspects.
The McCanns are still looking for their daughter.
The McCanns have held on throughout their ordeal
Innocence and appealed to the public for help in finding their missing person
Daughter. The couple also hired a private detective to look at the case.
Finally, the police in Britain were involved in the investigation.
The McCanns continue to hope that their daughter is still alive. "It becomes more difficult to know what to say or write when Madeleine brings each year closer to the end of the kidnapping," the couple wrote in a message on the 11th th anniversary of her disappearance. "Life is full and busy, which helps, but Madeleine is still missing and she is still very much missing … She is a real person and still our" little girl ". As always, we will do our best to do everything we can to find it.
