It's been almost 30 years since we saw Alex Winter's Bill S. Preston Esq. Ted Logan of Keanu Reeves on the big screen, but over the last decade, there have been numerous attempts to bring these two together again for another crazy adventure. Now it looks like Bill and Ted 3 aka Bill and Ted: Face the Music is closer than ever before and the story will show how the protagonists are trying to save the world with it of their music, something that George Carlin Rufus told them would make them all the way back to Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure . To this end, Ed Solomon, one of the authors who worked on the first two Bill and Ted films, noted that the upcoming Dreiquäll is similar to the classic story of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol that the duo rediscovers who it should be. As Salomon put it:
As you'll recall, at the end of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure Rufus said that the music would make Bill and Ted together, while the Wyld Stallyns would become Earth Utopia in the future. But decades later, Bill and Ted are no closer to achieving this, and it affects their family lives in Bill and Ted: Face the Music . As Keanu Reeves previously announced, someone comes from the future to tell them that if they do not write that music, not only the world, but the entire universe is at stake.
Ed Solomon has also said that there is a scene Bill and Ted: Imagine the music in which the two middle-aged men go back and take time to consider themselves high school students , and in consideration of this the comparison Christmas Carol made to EW makes sense. At some point in the years following Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, the two got lost, but the events of the third film, especially their younger self, will help put them on the right path, just as they were visited by these three ghosts helped Ebenezer Scrooge, to be friendly and empathetic to others.
Bill and Ted: Face the Music has been under development since 2010 and is one of the reasons why the movie was needed so long before it got into the movie. The reason is that the studios were more interested in it to fund a Bill and Ted reboot as a sequel that heads the couple as middle-aged men. However, with a script and Galaxy Quest 's Dean Parisot lined up to refer, Solomon also said that he and the creative team are hoping to reach a deal with some financiers, "hopefully within the next month or so And when that happens, this long-awaited follow-up can finally move forward. With all the time passing not only since Bill and Ted 3 but also since the broadcast of the original movie, it's about time the characters finally got their Christmas Carol moments Heroes who need the future.
