OAKLAND – Warriors coach Steve Kerr will not say it, so I'll do it: Stephen Curry will play Tuesday night in Game 2 of the Western Conference semi-final Warriors and Pelicans.
Curry is medically In the last few days he has had to endure a few scrimmages and on Monday he looked unhindered through his left MCL in the training hall of the Warriors.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr called Curry. "likely" for the game on Tuesday against the Pelicans, but that's just a coach and a team that is extremely cautious before the return of Curry.
But the only way No. 30 is not on the court Tuesday is when he suffers a brand new injury between now (19659002) If I look at it like that, I would like to explain that I am also "likely" for the game on Tuesday. am. (And I, like Curry, will not have a minute limit either.)

(1965: "I'd be surprised if he did not play," Kerr said on Monday as he broke through the tensions. What does Curry's return mean to the warriors?
Not much … For the present series
After all, the Warriors played an almost perfect match against New Orleans on Saturday without Curry – do it three more times and this series will end next weekend.
No, Curry's return is all about the big picture, because, in a twisted way, his return could be a disadvantage for the present series.
"It's exciting, I'm excited, I feel like a fan – I can not wait to see him out there," said Klay Thompson, who also does not hedge, from Curry's return on Monday. "Thinking is not about relaxing, it's about being locked up … Just because Steph is coming back does not mean we can relax … we've been playing at full speed since he's gone because you his production can not really catch up – you have to be even closer because he can not save us.
"Just do like him -"
As if he were not
Thompson did not have to catch himself, although I understand Why did he do it? As Thompson explained, the Warriors want to maintain their tenacity and focus – the things that helped them beat the Spurs and lead their first game win – for Game 2, and frankly, that's hard to do Stephen Curry (30) from Golden State Warriors smiles as he removes his knee brace during a workout at the AT & T Center in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, April 21, 2018. If the Warriors taught us something through the regular 2017-18 season, then it's with three of the best shooters of all time
When Curry was on the Court for the Warriors this year, Golden State averaged 1.24 points per possession – an absurd figure. When Curry and Durant were on the farm at the same time, that number was even higher (and more absurd) – 1.25. The Splash Brothers combo by Curry and Thompson was also good for a cool 1.24.
Defense? Who has to work hard on the defense if you drop 120 on someone you like?
There is no team in the NBA that can achieve this kind of offensive production, and the Warriors rode to a good part of their 58 victories. Regular Season
Scratch that – there's a team that comes close : Houston
And in many ways, that's what Currys Tuesday's return is about: The Rockets.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics 109-105. (19659008) The Warriors do not need Curry to defeat the pelicans in an efficient way – Game 1 proved that – but they will need it against the team's next most likely opponent, Houston. 19659002] (Is it tasteless to look ahead? Probably, but you've seen the Warriors in Game 1 play on New Orleans.) If you're thinking of making any adjustments, the Pelicans can turn Game 2 and spin it in one Series that goes more than five games, both I and Pellie's coach Alvin Gentry are all ears.)
The Rockets have an ever-great offensive, with suspected MVP James Harden scoring 1.18 points per possession when he was the bottom in this season. The combination of him and Chris Paul brought Houston to 1.23 points per possession.
And while Warrior's defense gives Golden State an advantage over Houston in the likely Western Conference finals match, the Golden State offensive – full force – must also show in this series as the Warriors advance to their fourth straight NBA finals.
In the first six games of this off-season, without curry, the Warriors have posted an effective field goal percentage of 53 and a true shooting rate of 57.7 – good, but not spectacular. In the regular season, these numbers were three points higher and led the league.
Here the Warriors have to go to the next round.
And while Durant and Thompson are incredible players who have done a commendable job Curry has been out in the five weeks, and the only way to get back to those numbers is to get the biggest shooter in NBA history on the floor to have.
So the Warriors may have been tempted to give Curry a little more time in court – to rest him for a few more days – considering the performance of the team in Game 1 without him, the faster Curry can come to the court the faster Curry get in shape.
"It's really about his rhythm," Kerr said. "The only factor that allows him to play is health and he is ready to go, now it's a question of rhythm and how much time we give him – and that's important, he has to get his groove back." "I'm not worried about that."
