We've all heard the story of how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got to know each other. The couple was introduced by mutual friends and met at a party in London. And the rest is, as they say, history.
But now TV presenter Lizzie Cundy comes out and says Meghan asked her to pair her with a "famous British man." She reveals that the two had led this discussion three years before the meeting of Harry and Meghan. Does this confirm the theory that Meghan has always tried to climb the social ladder, or is this a normal behavior? Meghan Markle
Cundy announced that she befriended Meghan when accompanying the future Duchess to a charity event in 2013. She said the former star of suits asked her if she knew anyone The famous, allegedly Cundy-telling Cundy: "I'm single and I love English men." Meghan asked if Cole had a reputation, but Cundy assured her that it did not matter because Meghan just wanted to have fun.
Cundy said she and Meghan kept in touch after Meghan left London, but she was completely surprised to find that Meghan was with Prince Harry. She sent Meghan a text message with her surprise, whereupon Meghan reportedly replied, "Yes, I know. We will try to join.
Meghan Markle spooked Lizzie Cundy after meeting Prince Harry.
The television presenter reports that the two were never connected after writing a message to Meghan, writing in their newly published autobiography, that Meghan made her basically spooky when she started to see the prince.
Supporters of the royal family will argue that this situation seems incredibly familiar to that which TV broadcaster Piers Morgan describes in detail he was a close friend of the former actress, frequently exchanging messages with her, and finally meeting her the same day she met Prince Harry, and also claims that Markle had made him spooky after meeting Harry.
Cundy has her theories about why both lost contact with Meghan after she started talking to Harry arrange to meet. Cundy speculates that the future Duchess has been instructed to break ties with people she's made friends with in the media.
Was Meghan Markle just "climbing the social ladder"?
Morgan has argued that Meghan has always climbed the social ladder and now she is finally at the top. For him, Cundy's story seems to be a confirmation of this theory.
However, it's not uncommon for friends to ask each other to bring them together with people they know. It is also not uncommon for a friend to know what kind of person this friend would be interested in.
This is probably why Meghan met Harry in the long run. We know that they got to know each other through a mutual friend, and there is a good chance that Meghan has asked this friend to found her. Whether Meghan asked for a Briton or specifically for the Prince, we will probably never know.
But we know that her friend knew what Meghan was looking for. Before Meghan went on her first date, she asked her friend, "Is he nice?" She told the BBC: "If he was not nice, it would not have made any sense."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were celebrating their jubilee
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their one-year anniversary just after Meghan gave birth to the couple's first son, Archie Harrison. And while some people might want to make something out of Meghan who allegedly asks to be compared to a "famous British man," the couple seems happy and committed to one another.
The couple had been together for two years before getting married, so Harry would probably have understood if any social climbing had taken place. There is nothing wrong with Meghan knowing what she wants and pursuing it. It's important to be with someone you like and are attracted to for a relationship to last.
