Wigged Out Wednesday offers women wigs fighting cancer their own wigs

Wigged Out Wednesday offers women who are in the fight against cancer their own wigs

A group of women fighting cancer get an extra dose of luck thanks to an event called Wigged Out Wednesday. The event offers custom wigs to women who have lost their hair during cancer treatment. "A woman's hair is her pride and glory," said cancer patient Sarah Shealy. "So I can not show my fame, can not show my crown." Wigs are expensive and the fight against cancer is tough enough, so these women with the help of community organizations receive an additional confidence boost. "It's really helpful because it's really scary to lose my hair," said Gracie Cooke, watching the video above to see the full story.
