The cover of Us Weekly this week features a Photoshopcomposite of our friends Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with an American flag directly over Meghan's head is hovering. "COME TO AMERICA!" Yelling the front page (with the similar question under the headline, "BUT IS YOUR DAD ON THE LIST?")
Yes, the magazine claims that after a palace insider Harry and Meghan are planning a US Spring 2019 Tour (her first full-length tour as a married couple is scheduled for this October when she will travel to Australia and New Zealand to see the Invictus Games). "They are so excited to go to the US," the magazine's insider said. "Meghan is looking forward to introducing Harry to everything she loves about the US." (Feel free to search the entries from the Tig that you have printed and arranged in a scrapbook to find out which restaurants and boutiques Meghan might present to her husband.)
Us Weekly has other postulated details he also offers, claiming that the duo "thinks New York, Washington, DC, and California," even though they "are working to finalize venues and venues." In California, they are reported to visit San Francisco, where "they will meet with CEOs and female tech entrepreneurs to promote their industry involvement." (Maybe Meghan can put some Silicon Valley guys in a tig-esque referral app, or Harry can offer some suggestions … maybe a Polo VR experience?) "Meghan and Harry want relations between Britain and the US consolidate, "says the source. "They want to emphasize and promote these relationships." There could also be a Chicago component that includes a stop at the Obama Foundation. While this already sounds like a rather sprawling tour, there is also mention of an extension to Canada where Meghan lived in Toronto while filming seven seasons suits
The royal rumors – especially Meghan – are fast and furious these days, so it's hard to know exactly how serious it is to take this report. A trip involving stays in New York City, D.C., San Francisco, Chicago, and Canada seems a bit crazy; on the other hand you will surely visit the USA soon, especially as Meghan is from here. (The release states that this summer Meghan will make an "unofficial" solo trip to New York and Los Angeles "to see family and friends." We can only imagine what comments Thomas Markle (19659008) Vanity Fair has appealed to the palace for comment on the report.
