Florida state head coach Willie Taggart spoke to the media following the Seminoles, 22-20 loss to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Taggart opened the press conference by stating, "This one hurts, the team did some things well, but turnovers and penalties did them in. He further touched on a variety of topics including player injuries, QB play, Ricky Aguayo, and more. 19659002] In regards to the timeout before Aguayo's missed field goal, Taggart said that they were thinking about going for it, but that Aguayo was "one hundred percent" in practice every week and that he had made the leg to make a 50- yarder.
Taggart is hopeful that Florida State wants to find its way back into the win column at the Syracuse next week seminar in Doak Campbell stadium for homecoming. He said, "Anytime we loose it's a setback and we need to find a way to get back in the win column."
