Pay $ 9.99 per month for Spotify Premium? You can now get some free Hulu by the way.

In a new partnership announced on Tuesday, the two popular streaming services announced that they would merge, with the package being available to new and existing Spotify Premium subscribers.

Hulu is currently charging $ 5.99 per month for his ad-supported option bundled with Spotify.

If you are already a Spotify Premium subscriber, you can add Hulu by logging into the Spotify "Your Services Page" website. New Spotify users receive free access to both services for 30 days, then pay $ 9.99 per month.

For those who signed up for the partnership between Spotify and Hulu last year, the price per month is automatically lowered to $ 9.99.

The deal runs until June 10, so potential buyers might want to trade quickly.

It is currently not clear if those who are already paying for Hulu can add Spotify Premium to their accounts. It's similarly unclear whether the offer will apply to Spotify's family plans worth $ 14.99 per month.

The announcement of the partnership comes one day after . Apple announced it will host an event in Cupertino, California on March 25. After years of rumors, Apple, which already offers Apple Music's Spotify rival, is finally expected to take out the new video streaming service that may have support from Hollywood heavyweights.

Bloomberg recently reported that a number of Hollywood stars could attend the event, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, and director J.J. Abrams
