KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A passenger aboard an airplane scheduled to fly to Kansas City died on Tuesday afternoon as a result of a medical emergency.
KCI spokesman said A woman aboard the Alaska Airlines 478 flight from Seattle to Kansas City had a medical emergency and could not be resuscitated.

Passengers on the flight were detained for about two hours after their landing. Passengers FOX4 spoke with said the long wait was understandable given the circumstances.
"I'm really sorry for this lady's family," said passenger Jan Andrews.
The police said it was not a foul. An autopsy determines the exact cause of death of the woman.
