A Mexican college student survived an 80-foot fall after practicing an extreme yoga posture on the balcony on the sixth floor of her building, according to the New York Post.
23-year-old Alexa Terrazas, who studies health and nutrition at Tecnológico de Monterrey, slipped off the balcony rail last Saturday and landed on the sidewalk in front of her home in the northeastern state of Nuevo León, the Post reported, citing local media. The neighbors said they had seen her standing on her terrace before she fell.

The college student reportedly performed similar death-defying poses at the guardrail but almost died after she fell and broke her legs, arms, hips and head , She was taken to the hospital where she underwent an eleven-hour procedure where doctors had to "reconstruct" her legs.
On Monday, Terrazas was still in critical condition, the Post reported. The doctors believe that it could take up to three years for the 23-year-old to run again.
Meanwhile, people in social media have asked others to donate blood, although the Terazzas family has stated that there is no need.
