Shayna Baszler's road to the NXT Women's Championship was paved with broken bones and torn ribbons, including the arm of Dakota Kai.
The Scandalous Queen of Spades The attack halted the Kiwi Run in NXT, and on Wednesday night Kai sought revenge as she fought for the grand prize in the women's section of the brand.
The game ended another episode of NXT television that continued rivalries while continuing to introduce fans to the new faces that will form the basis of the show over the coming months.

George Hixon and Cody Vincent came to fight the war Hanson and Rowe of Raiders
They probably should not have.
The heels dominated with their raw athleticism, and Hanson delivered a top rope leg throw to clinch the victory.
The POWs defeated George Hixon and Cody Vincent
The warlords who destroy idiots will never be entertaining.
It would be nice to see them in a more competitive environment, but that will be enough.

EC3 tried to continue his victories as he locked in with the former rugby player Fabian Aichner in the singles competition.
The former TNA World Champion controlled most of the game, but the arrival of Johnny Gargano, who went to the announcement gate and produced a signed contract for his upcoming street fight with Tommaso Ciampa, nearly cost him.
Aichner crushed him with a cross-body, but it was in vain when EC3 recovered to deliver the Top One Percent for the Pinfall win.
EC3 defeats Fabian Aichner
That was a spectacular foreboding on the part of the NXT creative team, if that was intended.
EC3, making an exception to Johnny Gargano's interruption, not only matches his character, but also suggests a rivalry between the two in hindsight
Aichner was impressive, as he is usually in these short matches the point that one hopes that one day he will get the chance to shine in an extended television fight.

The energetic and high-flying Ricochet saw a big win over Chris Dijak, who made his first NXT TV appearance.
Ricochet attempted an early suicide attempt, but his larger opponent grabbed him on the ground and delivered out a chokeslam on the apron
Dijak tried what to do It was an impressive Moonsault, but Ricochet rolled out of the way, delivering a combination of strikes that ended in a deadlift and ended with his 630 splash for victory.
After the match, Ricochet cut a promo on Velveteen Dream, referring to him as Punk. Dream interrupted the promo and interrupted a match between the two in Chicago.
Dream insisted on all that Ricochet can do, he can do better, whereupon the beloved Babyface floated in the air and landed on his feet before the dream. "Then show it to me," he insisted, dropping Dream's jaw.
Ricochet defeated Chris Dijak
Not only that ricochet vs.. Dijak was a really funny sprint of a squash match, also the game after the air raid and Velveteen Dream was phenomenal.
Everything Dream touches on gold and Ricochet is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world. There are plenty of Superstars on the NXT roster to compete in Chicago, and each of them will shake their boots if they want to follow Ricochet and Dream.
Your match will be as good and strong as this will only improve.

Dakota Kai faced the unenviable task of shutting out the woman she'd wounded months ago if she quit the show on Wednesday with the NXT Women's Championship ,
Baszler wasted little time attacking her opponent's legs, working on them, and keeping the already anxious dock in pain. She stamped her ankle on the ankle, but the brave Kai refused to stop.
Fighting back, she hit Baszler with punches and a series of kicks. She put down her finisher, but Baszler only countered and locked her in the rear naked choke to force the tapout and keep her title.
After the game, Baszler resumed the stranglehold, but Nikki Cross rescued. She stole the title and caused Baszler to enter the ring where she held her while Kai counted the case. Cross celebrated as if she had won the title, while Baszler insisted that it was not a real, legitimate defeat.
Shayna Baszler def. Dakota Kai
Analysis Baszler overpowered a frightened wharf as she should have done, but the meat of the segment was Cross's throw in the women's cover picture.
Where she came from, why she wants the title and what she has seen with Baszler. Although she is great and totally in the title chase, it stinks after lazy writing.
Getting better from here is the key question when NXT approaches its Chicago show.
