This was not a good show in my opinion. We've seen a lot that you'll see in "The Rest" below, where the story never clicked to make me feel emotionally tense. But with that statement, there's an argument with Raw that does it right, a confrontation that brings the heat and makes the whole confrontation a big deal.
Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans.
Earlier in the Show We had Baron Corbins whining and apologizing to Drew McIntyre. We had to tell Dana Brooke who is getting too many options while Natalya sits with her hands on her hips and says, "Guys, boys. I will be the champion! "
Yes. Strangely, nothing works for me.
Instead … Lynch and Evans hate each other. Can not stand your bare presence offends each other, and no one is willing to pull down an inch.
And there were no stupid games here. No paragraphs or the like. No, Evans stepped onto the stage with her usual grace and did her usual routine, except that the sugary words were stained this time with a mocking sweetness before the anger took over. She accused the double champion like a boss and the two fought like hell.
And it was good! It even became a "Let me fight!" – get vocals! It was perhaps the only one on this show that really upset me … well, of course Bray Wyatt.
Destruction of the Funhouse
Ah! The real point of this review: Break down what the hell the Firefly Fun House episode meant!
So, early in the series, Bray said that no one can really do anything to us when he expresses himself. And I found that very interesting because I can not say whether he lied to us from his perspective or told the truth.
Let's take the first character we met, for example: Rambling Rabbit, a puppet that is fascinated by what Bray draws. Of course, the name of the rabbit is intriguing, because what was one of the most common criticisms of Bray in his earlier form? "Talk in riddles, say things, but it will not be secured …"
The fact that Rambling Rabbit is a manifestation in every Bray-adjacent horror scene we are experiencing is remarkable, especially after discussions about expressing ourselves and whether it can hurt our feelings. The natural assumption I have is that Bray's statement that he was his old appearance should be expressed, yet we criticized. Whether our criticism hurts or not, who says that? However, the fact that he is in this weird Fun House could give us a hint.
It is also noteworthy that he painted the burning hut where Abigail's body was housed. And when Bray hung the painting crookedly on the wall, Abby woke up. What does that mean? No idea. I just thought it was neat.
I love this show. Can I just do reviews of Fun House, Geno? (Editor's note from Geno: Nope!)
Did anyone else … expect more from AJ Styles and Seth Rollins? And by "more" I mean "literally anything interesting."
The whole segment just said the obvious stuff:
"Hey, I like you, but I want that belt." "No, I can not have it . "
" But I want it. "
" But I'm burning it down. "
" But I'm building it up. "
… I feel like I'm stealing a gimmick avoid me from this alley. The point I'm coming to is, however, that neither Rollins nor Styles promoted some intrigue or excitement for this story. The match will rock because of who's there. However, this was a chance to do something to get people to invest in the new Raw versions. Instead, we got minor conflicts and a clinical brawl.
I want more, but not the way you want me to do more. I want … something to connect to. Everything please.
Becky is not the only duplicator – Shane makes fun of Roman Reigns over SmackDown Live … but that does not mean he's done with the Miz. Miz had a MizTV segment with a Lio Rush-less Bobby Lashley, in which he basically asked Lashley if he would live up to his potential. In response, Lashley spoke for some reason in a third person.
Shane came out to distract Miz and taste the subsequent match. Then he put Miz to sleep and insulted his father again. Miz challenged him to a steel cage for retaliation. That will certainly be a spectacle, right?
Ricochet and Brown Strowman def. Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre – I think it's remarkable that McIntyre left Corbin, but in my opinion the most important thing is that Ricochet took on the role of Finn Balor, with whom he was approached by the big boys , Even finishing the game with a Moonsault was different.
The Usos def. The Club – The entrance to crowd participation must go, Uce. Noooooo my Balor Club Fantasy Booking = (
Everything to do with the revival – None of it is fun, boss.) You've also lost to the Tag Champions, for a good measure.
Yes 'He still lives the best of life, no, you still are not, and that's your problem, not his, and he's even rubbing that up even more than giving up his job.
I really dug the line " 3 shoulder operations and 17-year 5-star classic is more than enough, right? "I wish the reaction had been a little bit stronger, but … you know … Lexington, Kentucky.
Naomi def. Alexa Bliss – The "Moment of Bliss" segment before that was not good, but the game that came out of it was pretty neat shakeup Naomi must be a big player in the emerging division.
… Okay, I said I did not want to over Moment of Bliss talk, but man, I lost everything Desire to Dana Brooke in about 3 minutes to fire the apartment.
Rey Mysterio def. Samoa Joe – Good publicity ahead of Joe, but I swear that Joe's entire WWE career is that he gets rolled up and then looks absolutely shocked, and Rey, who's as much as she is, is pretty silly.
The Viking Raiders def. The Lucha House Party – My only question: what happened to the Lucha House Rules?
I really did not like this episode. I did not really grin in the meeting, but the grade should tell you what I could say.
It's your turn.
