The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is Royal Rumble which will be held on Sun., January 27, 2019, at Chase Field, Phoenix, Arizona. The annual show of the beginning of the year with the most popular gimmick match. The next number one candidate will be either the Raw (Universal) or the SmackDown Live (World) Championship for men and either the Raw or SmackDown women's title for the women.
We are still five weeks ahead of Showtime, so the card is bare bones:
R-Truth will move from position 30 due to his win in the Mixed Match Challenge. Nobody else officially declared the game.
Carmella will start from position 30 due to her victory in the Mixed Match Challenge. Nobody else has officially declared for the game.
- Brock Lesnar vs. Brown Strowman
This game was officially made when Strowman defeated Baron Corbin at TLC in a game designed entirely for this purpose. Get Corbin in power and enter Strowman some time to recover from an elbow problem. He would always get that match.
Asuka Vs. Becky Lynch was announced on Main Event last week, but the WWE returned. Rumors indicate that the map is currently being reworked and may not look as it was originally planned. There are no real details about what that might mean, but that was the last word.
It's still the Royal Rumble, no matter what they do.
Are you there?
